Brodiaea Flower Card
Brodiaea (Dichelostemma capitatum) are spring wildflowers found throughout much of the western US. They occur with bright orange poppies and fiddlenecks and are a beautiful contrast with their bright purple. This drawing began with ink and brush pen, and then some watercolor. Later, it was enhanced using digital artistic effects. The plant was found along the North Fork of the Kaweah River, in Three Rivers, California.
