Many of his works were meant to skewer the outrages and pretensions of Communist society. You need not be a rocket scientist to see how they applied to Western societies as well. His stories were often populated with robots, or, as he referred to them, cybernetic organisms. I believe I have been able to capture the comical tone that was typically incorporated into the stories.
