Considering it is scales and fishy, it is surprisingly classy looking. We bought for the director of color guard to wear to state fair marching competition for our show "Sirens". We won first place. Had to be the tie.
It is a nice silky weight and of good quality. Colors are just as pictures and look good with white or cream which is hard to do.
