About This Design

Büchsenschmidt - Gunsmith Coffee Mug

An image from a mediaeval German woodblock. Das Ständebuch, or the Book of Trades, was a 16th century collection of images with descriptions of persons from all stations in society from Pope to Fool. These images may be of interest to anybody with a German or English name reflected in these titles or those who are employed in similar trades in the modern age.

I got this for my gunsmith grandson and he loved it. It's more attractive than it shows in the picture. I'm sure he'll get a lot of use out of it. Personally, I wish the printing had been larger but otherwise it is very unique.

I have ordered from zazzle before and it was perfect. This time the mug has arrived in great time but the mug has rubbed on the box and has affected the image, I was hoping to get in touch with the creator but can’t seem to find a way of contacting them. We would love another sent out maybe wrapped in bubble wrap to protect the image. Would love to hear back from the creator. Kind regards, Lisa.
