Buffalo's massive Art Deco City Hall is an iconic symbol of the city. Here we portray it with the sunset behind it, in a whimsical setting. I did this picture for the goofy fun of it, but now when I look at it I think, it really does have that kind of look -- I would see the scene awash in deep colours when I was running at sunset from my job at The Buffalo News to see my husband, Howard, playing the piano at the Statler. The spirit of Buffalo!
