Bushidō T-Shirt

Bushidō – A Japanese set of values, which are intrinsically interwoven with the Samurai in traditional Japenese culture. Having its roots in military history, it later developed into a more day-to-day set of values. As such it is more an idealised and historically grown concept and not something proclaimed or laid down in a codex. There are five core values: loyalty, courtesy, valour, candour and simplicity. My design tries to capture the atmosphere associated with Bushidō in today´s cultural depiction, still having the warrior at the centre.

I'm really happy with this shirt - it looks great, fits perfectly, and feels right. The quality of the material and the cut is excellent. I'm really happy. I designed the print and it is exactly as I planned. In fact the colours are better than I'd hoped. The colours are fairly nuanced across the front and it wouldn't have worked if the printing wasn't exact, but it is.
