Cho Ageha Stationery

[Ageha Cho] Butterfly Pattern / This design was drawn by referring to "The Creasing Pattern of Ageha Butterfly Pattern and the Training Session Text" in "Kyoto Monsho Joeshi" (Kyoto Monsho-Jo Eshi) published in "Nihon Monsho Daizukan" (A Large Picture Book of Japanese Crests) (2013/3/28). The word "Gaucho" refers to the state of the wings lying down horizontally, while the state of the wings rising up, or the state of the wings resting, is called "Ageha-cho." The Ageha butterfly, which appears in the family crest, was not a common Ageha butterfly. It was surprising that the paper Ageha Butterfly and the biological Ageha Butterfly were different.
