Remake of the cover of Natura ed Arte (nature and art) magazine, a fortnightly magazine of science, literature and arts, published in Milan from Dec. 1, 1891 to 1911, by Francis Vallardi and directed by Angelo De Gubernatis, - initiator and editor of several journals, as well as eminent scholar and professor of Sanskrit and Italian literature at the University of Rome, which was a turning point in the landscape of popular periodicals of science, literature and arts of the late nineteenth century.
The woman on the cover is wearing the latest fashion in clothing and hats around 1900, whilst answering the telephone.
