Vintage Label Art are paper labels that have been used since the early 1880s. They were introduced to America by European artists, and this printing process became known as lithography. This was one of the first forms of commercial art.
This is a Dutch chocolate ad featuring a pretty young girl in elaborate clothing, including a large sun hat with branches of blossoms decorating the hat. She appears to be standing under a tree with the same blossoms and a little bird is perched on one of the branches. Perhaps these lovely blue eggs belong to this little bird.
