Calculating the Moon Landing Cushion

I created this pattern to commemorate the women engineers and mathematicians who toiled behind the scenes to calculate the trajectory for the Apollo 11 moon landing. My design shows women standing on ladders at a giant blackboard writing mathematical calculations for the landing trajectory. Chalk images of the moon and the Apollo landing module are also drawn on the board, along with the Saturn V rocket that carried the lunar landing module. Celebrate the 50th anniversary of this historic event with this throw pillow. A great gift idea for anyone dreaming of a career in mathematics, the space industry or the sciences.
