This is the first calendar in this series. These are birds that are common in Northeastern Pennsylvania, USA. I'm not specifically a bird photographer but who could resist these beautiful birds - not me! Most of my pictures are taken in winter when the leaves are off the trees so the birds show up in the pictures. I have another series of calendars of birds called "Favourite Backyard Birds" where I've removed a lot of the background. This series of calendars doesn't have the background removed.
