California Mission Santa Barbara Holiday Card

The mission at Santa Barbara in California was the tenth mission to be built by Franciscan clergy in Alta California during thelate 1700's. Moving North from Mexico the monks created a chain of missions from San Diego in the South to San Francisco in the North. The Mission Santa Barbara is often called the "Queen of the Missions" it is the only one of the missions to have two bell towers on its West Front and is still a focal point of the community today.
