A golden poppy in a circle. It is a simple but dramatic photo of a Poppy one of several species that grow wild in California (genus eschscholzia). This would be great souvenir of a visit to California, the Golden State.
The state flower is the California Poppy (Eschscholzia californica). We live in an area of California where poppies grow wild. Every spring our front yard is filled with a riot of poppies. We just pull the weeds and let them grow. This is a photocopy of a poppy from our yard.

This is a lovely ornament, and great that you personalise the back with details of birthday, weight, etc.. My only tiny disappointment is the "My First" doesn't stand out very well on the background. More than happy with the printing of the photo and the writing on the back.
