Cardinal Eggs Postcard
A Northern Cardinal pair, which mates for life, created this cosy nest for their eggs. This photo was taken in mid May 2018, and the eggs hatched on May 19, 2018. The nest is in a clematis vine right next to our house. I was surprised that it is so low...eye level. The parents are taking very good care of their little darlings.
