Carved Polka Dot Zebra Key Ring

A digital rendering of a wood carving, or engraving, of the polka dot zebra which serves as the logo of the world famous, but entirely imaginary, Polka Dot zebra pub in England. Zebras are not always born with black and white stripes, There are a number of mutations which can can cause variations on colour and form. In 2020 a young, "polka dot" Plains Zebra (Equus quagga), nicknamed Tira, was discovered in Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve. Tira's unusual appearance is the result of a rare mutation called pseudomelanism. Tira was the inspiration for our Polka Dot Zebra, an artist's conception of an adult animal with this colour variation.
