It was designed originally for dictation, but improvements in fidelity led the Compact Cassette to supplant the Stereo 8-track cartridge and reel-to-reel tape recording in most non-professional applications. This is a 1980s classic cassette tape player.

My coasters arrived and one was chipped. I got in touch with Zazzle and had no trouble getting a replacement. I was refreshed with how easy and it was and how customer-focused their service was. The colours are good. Just note these coasters are clay not furry.
