Castle Stalker, Argyll Scotland Notebook

Set on a tidal islet on Loch Laich, this well-preserved mediaeval Tower House has been a movie set with its dramatic mountainous backgrounds. Built in the 1320s by MacDougalls, it passed to Clan Campbell and then to Stewart owners.
