Cat Art Invitation

Well, in case it's not obvious, I am obsessed with this chunky, scroll-y coffee pot. Don't worry, this is probably the last time I'll use it for a while & I'll make sure to use other pots in the future. I've made a lot of attempts at coffee-slash-cat art in the past, but many of them lacked the "oomph" to satisfy my vision. I found this piece fulfilled my intent. It's a mix of the warm, cosy, clay-like colours of the pot, mug, & saucer sent against this oceanic, napa blue that does it for me. The cats also turned out really well. I freehanded their facial expressions & find them to be quite likeable personalities. The little dots in the middle of the stars help to pull out the warmth of the cafe ware & add a bit of cheer to the celestial background. I think we all have that friend or loved one who lives for both their cats AND their coffee. Delight them with this design as art or as a greeting card.
