Austrian psychiatrist Sigmund Freud (1856 - 1939), the founding father of psychoanalysis, loved cats, as this wonderful quote testifies: "Time spent with cats is never wasted." The great words are matched with an equally great painting by Japanese ukiyo-e artist Takahashi Shotei (1871 - 1944). Called Tama (white cat) it features a beautifully serene and contented white cat with beautiful yellow eyes. The mug would be the perfect gift for cat lovers and admirers of vintage Japanese art.

This mug was a Christmas Gift. The mug looked great and just as pictured. Other than the wording not being as clear, maybe a different font would have been better and maybe slightly bigger, the graphic of the cat was perfect.
