Caudieux (1893) by Toulouse Lautrec is a vintage post impressionism art nouveau fine art portrait painting a fancy gentleman. The old comedian Caudieux is wearing a formal tuxedo prancing past the prompter's box to make his entrance on stage at the Casino de Paris (or Petit Casino). About the artist: Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901) was a French post impressionism painter and was known as one of the greatest painters of the Post Impressionist period.
