This is not meant to be a true representation of the traditional Celtic shield, which was ovoid and usually made of brass or bronze. This is my decorative interpretation of a Celtic shield, with Trinity knot, and decorative Celtic knot symbols inlays.

Zazzle is more than I expected for an online product. The photos of the products are exactly as the product is. The clarity and colors are vibrant. Print was exactly has shown. I made the mistake of thinking the two types of tiles were the same and found out that one type is lighter than the other. My mistake for not reading the names carefully. I have several now in both the bright white and the subdued ones. They will make a great accent to my Celtic kitchen. I am also getting the matching pillows for my window seat.
