Central Park Flyer train from Schenectady T-Shirt T-shirt of my original artwork illustrating the historic former train ride of Central Park in Schenectady. The train was purchased by the city in the 1970's for $20,000 and would be parked in a barn at the park. Tickets were sold at the "Central Park Casino", the price to ride was 15 cents for kids and 25 cents for adults and would ride passengers around Iroquois Lake and throughout the park. The train was similar to the one at Catskill Game Farm. Inside the engine was a tractor. The train operated hourly from 1:00-7:00 until the mid 1990's and is in storage today.
