Ceramic Ornament

Holidays at Field's Ornament Marshall Field's Department store is remembered fondly in Chicago as a fine store with quality merchandise as well as their infamous clocks on each corner that sparked the phrase "Meet me under the Clock at Field's". Marshall Field himself was known for expert customer service and coined the phrase, "Give the lady what she wants!". I created this illustration in a B&W "stipple" technique with watercolor tones added. It is my most popular illustration. I hope it brings back many fond memories of shopping there with your Mother, Grandmother or family and friends.
