charlie wilson T-Shirt

This may be a long story. Back before I got married, I spent some time as a news reporter. (Writing t-shirts is a little like writing headlines.) At one point I worked for a Pulitzer Prize-winning paper in East Texas (the only paper of its size to have ever won such a prestigious award). Charlie Wilson, of movie and Afghanistan fame, was my representative. I am still fond of him because he loved reporters and was generous with them. I think we've really lost something. The people I worked with, the editors and publishers and other reporters, had a real ethic. I don't see that on TV news.
