About This Design

Cherry blossom, birdcage, wedding, invite

Cherry blossom, birdcage, wedding, invite

I lived in Japan for a while and love the way they celebrate the cherry blossom ('sakura'), its fragility, its beauty. 'I hope to pass away the same as Buddha, amongst the cherry blossoms in full bloom' Saigyo (1118 - 1190) I have not added any text or border to the invite so you can personalize it to suit your needs and individual style. This design is perfect for an announcement card, wedding, engagement, birthday, civil ceremony or party invitation as it is so beautiful, original and memorable. Other items are available using my artwork and if you would like to see the painting on a different item or changed slightly then please do contact me. Thank you for considering my work: it is greatly appreciated. The Tiny Artist x
