Children in the King's Orchard Cushion
This design features art by the English painter Arthur Hughes (1832–1915). It shows three children, two girls and a boy, resting on a tree in the orchard of a mediaeval King of England. They are dressed in historical costume, perhaps Tudor dress. The boy is playing a lute, which is an antique musical instrument. There is also a dog resting its head on the lap of the smallest girl. The original artwork was painted in 1858.
