Chinese Fan and Double Happiness Wedding RSVP Invitation Postcard

In this design, the fan is used symbolically to direct happiness to the newly wedded couple; hence the "Double Happiness" character painted on the fan. The Chinese character "Double Happiness" in gold colour spelled xi or "hsi" in Mandarin and pronounced "shuang-xi" is a well-known Chinese character used traditionally in Chinese wedding as a symbol of love, happiness, and luck for the newly wedded couple. The colour red is an auspicious as well as a popular colour in Chinese culture. It symbolises luck, happiness, and joy. The use of contemporary fonts completes the design. A design truly fit for any Chinese wedding celebrations.
