When I became a father, I had to start doing research into what it means to be a Godly parent. and there was a lot of belief in the Christian community about being an authoritarian parent, as in do what I say because I said so belief. But psychology and studies have shown gentle and authoritative parenting are the best styles for happy and successful children. So when the traditional view came into conflict with the science and studies, I started looking for bible verses to back up the gentle parenting view. Starting with This one from the bible, but we have an entire collection dedicated to the idea of how the bible says to raise happy, successful and Godly children in todays world.
