Christmas Tradition 2021 Ornament

Christmas Tradition Ornament Each year, I select one of my paintings to create a special Christmas ornament. This ornament features Christmas Tradition, a painting inspired by treasured memories of Christmases spent on our family farm. One of my favourite holiday traditions was going with my dad to find the perfect cedar tree for Christmas. I can still remember the excitement of loading the tree into the back of an old red pickup truck and carrying it home through the winter countryside. Once inside, we gathered around as Daddy carefully placed the tree in its stand and strung the colourful lights, making sure no two colours were side by side. The decorating continued with homemade ribbon garland, treasured Shiny Brite ornaments, sparkling tinsel icicles, and finally a touch of spray snow. As the lights reflected off the branches, the room seemed filled with Christmas magic. This painting celebrates the simple traditions that make Christmas so meaningful—family, faith, memories, and time spent together. It serves as a reminder that the greatest gifts of the season are often the moments we share with those we love. Whether displayed on a Christmas tree or an ornament stand, this keepsake is designed to bring warmth, nostalgia, and holiday joy for years to come.
