Nearly every sign has a dentist inside. From small signs to giant ones. There is probably a good reason why they accumulated here, if you look at that dip in the track. The street car probably banged into that on a regular basis, there was bound to be at least one broken tooth in there. I would imagine the next block has chiropractors. You could also get shoes, or perhaps jewellery from Mr Frankenstein himself. You can pay in pitchforks. The street is wet probably because a wetting wagon rolled by. To keep dust down the city would send out a truck that would spray water on the street. It probably made everything slick though. Eventually those wagons became trucks, and then eventually street cleaners.
