Colourized photo from 1908 Original title: Merrimack St, looking west Location: Lowell, MA, 19 Merrimack St A dam good company, and a mighty fine street. You never have enough signs, it was quite commercial in the past. These buildings were designed to last the test of time, and they have proven that, as many of them are still standing even today. That building on the left, is almost done with its construction, the windows were just put in. You can tell its a well to do neighbourhood, the children are all wearing shoes. In the past the less wealthy, children were barefoot where ever they went.
