City of Dresden at Sunset (German Landscape) Tile
This design features a painting by the Norwegian artist Knud Baade (1808–1879). It shows a historical view of the German city of Dresden. The River Elbe can be seen flowing through the city, and there are some sailboats on the water. Elegant architecture can be seen in the city, with some towers rising above the other houses and buildings. There is a bright sunset that can be seen through the cloudy sky. The original art was painted in 1838.
