When it arrived it was stiff and I worried it would work for a mini pleated wraparound kilt I had in mind, but after a couple of washes it was absolutely perfect. I made a pattern from a friends sport kilt and went to work. It sewed beautifully and the pleats ironed in with no problems. I originally purchased 1 yard and made the kilt from that, then purchased an additional 2 yards for some other project. The colors from the printing were perfect. My Taylor Ancient tartan exactly as it should be
