Claude Monet - View of Amsterdam Magnet
View of the Prins Hendrikkade and the Kromme Waal in Amsterdam, 1874 - Claude Monet, oil on canvas. Claude Monet (Paris, 1840 - Giverny, 1926) was a French Impressionist painter. Monet made this study during his second visit to the Netherlands. He worked from a boat on the IJ, looking towards the end of the Prins Hendrikkade and the Kromme Waal. The setting is identifiable, but exact topography was not his main concern. Small touches describe rippling water, reflections, boats and the grey skyline while loose handling keeps the whole view atmospheric. The painting shows how Monet could turn a busy urban waterfront into an experiment in light and reflection rather than a conventional record of Amsterdam.

My work uses Velcro spots and laminated paper for the "clean/dirty" sign and has to replace it every few weeks (people resist using it as the Velcro dots peal off). I saw these and instantly purchased them for work AND our home dish drawers.
I am really impressed by the quality and being raised slightly means they are easy to grab and turn over. Visual
Such a great solution and highly recommended! The printing is great - I like the colourway and the font.

I think that besides the cute picture on the magnet, this product is strong, sticks well to surfaces, and is a great addition to any household. The image is perfect, and looks just like the character in the book.
