Codependency Tells the Truth Recovery Card

We're said to be codependent when we lose our identity or autonomy at the hands of other people or another person, even if their hands are completely clean! (This is why it's the responsibility of the codependent to find their sanity.) And it is possible, completely. I designed this card for the one who is on this path to sanity, to recovery. The recovery can be a lonely road as the people around us clamour for our old 'us.' But if they knew the extent we had lost our us, the sane people among us would be cheering with us! (They would!) Consider this card my cheer for you. Consider this Codie Recovery Card my "Atta Girl" or "Atta Guy!" YOU are the most important person in this life. YOU deserve clarity, peace, love and fulfilment. You deserve a sane mind. You deserve the discovery of your Self. If you have a loved one who is taking their Mind back into their own hands, I bet they would love to hear how proud you are of them. They may not discuss how lonely or sometimes self-defeating it 'feels' like it is, this recovery, but they're establishing new patterns and behaviours often acquired over the course of a lifetime. Encourage them!
