About This Design

Coelacanth Stone Coaster

Coelacanth Stone Coaster

This stone coaster features a cartoon drawing of a blue, spotted coelacanth! The coelacanth is a lobe-finned fish once thought to have been extinct since the Cretaceous. Lobe-finned fish are noteworthy as a potential ancestor group to tetrapods (amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals). This coaster is perfect for a biologist, paleontologist, or lover of rare and unusual animals! Available in four rock types!
