This capybara birthday invitation sets a whimsical tone for a wildlife birthday party! The capybara is hand-illustrated. I drew him on paper, the old-fashioned way, while looking at an actual capybara. There is one of those handsome rodents living across the street from my house, in the Rainforest Exhibit of the Buffalo Zoological Gardens. The retro lettering in traditional bright birthday colours strike a retro tone and suggest the 1950s and 1960s. Fun for kids who love unusual pets, the rainforest, the jungle, zoology, all that wonderful stuff!
