COMBAT OSPREY - V-22 Osprey Calendar

The V-22 Osprey is a multi-mission, tiltrotor military aircraft with vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) capabilities. It is designed to combine the functionality of a conventional helicopter with the long-range, high-speed cruise performance of a turboprop aircraft. The V-22 Osprey conducts transport for troops, equipment and supplies, capable of operating from ships or expeditionary airfields ashore. US Special Operations forces also utilise the V-22 Osprey which can operate long-range special operations missions, equipped with extra wing fuel tanks and terrain-following radar.
