Cooking With WINE Oven Mitt

When you do cook with wine, make sure to savour as much of it as possible with this in mind (I smile to recall her telling the story ...): A neighbour used a bottle of wine given them as a gift as an ingredient in her spaghetti sauce. Considering she was having a large family gathering, she used the entire bottle with just a small taste for herself. She loved the taste and end result in the sauce so much that she took the bottle to our local wine connoisseur in a small liquor store in town. He knew the wine immediately, but questioned that she wanted to buy a case ... considering the wine given to her and her husband as a gift was (totally unbeknownst to her) over $100.00 per bottle. She said she wished she had poured more in the glass than in the sauce after learning that fact! Thank you for being here with me as I am revamping my popular Apron Collection with updates.
