Coot Lake View Postcard
This is one of my favourite lakes in Boulder County Colorado. Years ago it was known as the nudie lake, back in the Boulder Hippie days. Coot lake is near IBM on 63rd street. As I took off for my evening magic hour of photo shooting I noticed there was very little wind, these are the kind of nights photographers love because lakes can be like glass with incredible reflections. When I got to Coot the was a breeze that went up and down, it was a very mellow sunset that produced a very little colour and most of it was about 10 minutes after sunset. You never know how it is going to go because it depends on how close the cloud bank is to the Rocky Mountain Continental divide.

Such a huge range of different frogs available, which made my choices very difficult and now the reason I have a whole draw full of cards and postcards! Much better quality than you can buy in the shops and they are exactly on the subject I love and adore too.
