Nihad Mrkonja, R.T.(R), is the fourth winner in the Radiologic Technology Cover Art Contest. His submission “Behind the Window” demonstrates how the artist loves to play with colours. “I’m trying to make a composition of broken parts so that each part can be a work of art itself.” The original was painted in acrylic on a 16 x 20 in acrylic canvas. Nihad is a radiographer at Davis Hospital & Medical Centre in Layton, Utah. He has been a radiographer for 20 years. March/April 2009, Vol. 80/No. 4, RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY, an official journal of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.

The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it. The colours were rich and the image sharp.
