The Real Palace of Seville is a set of palaces and gardens, surrounded by a wall, whose construction began in S. VIII after the conquest of Seville by the Arabs. The Patio of the Cruise was constructed in S. XII, with a full garden in two levels of orange trees and ponds. As a result of the earthquake of Lisbon, in 1755, an important part of the patio filled up inferior, leaving only the denominated pool “Baths of Do6na Maria de Padilla”.
