I initially created this series of artwork as a fundraiser to support his care and recovery, and now they represent the undying bond between a pet and their human. For being such a tolerant lovebug, Vesuv’s story is one of resilience. From being rescued out of a terrible situation that left his body covered in filth and matted fur, to being the most spoiled, deeply loved, and desperately missed part of my heart and family.
