Custom Ceramic Tile - Do It Yourself

The tiles were really nice when we received them and we were excited to complete the project using the tiles. We glued the tiles to the board and let it dry overnight. Then we put the grout on. When we used a very wet sponge to get the grout cleaned off, the color on the tile started peeling off. The tiles with the picture did the same including the picture. This was going to be a Father’s Day present, but we can’t give this to anyone. I have ordered custom tiles previously and used for the same type project and had no problems. Some are 10 years or older and still in use. After spending around $67 for these tiles, we have had to scrap the project. .

My fiancé and I were happy when we received the tile. It’s Peru and was worth paying extra for expressing postage. Good quality and it is exactly like we wanted it. We are very pleased.
