This adorable amphibian, aka the painted reed frog, is native to sub-Saharan Africa. Marbled reed frogs are highly adaptable. They live in swamps and other wetlands, as well as grasslands, savanna, human habitations and even urban environments, unlike many frog species who are dependent on a specific habitat.
