This iPad cover is made from a very sturdy cardboard type material. The iPad sits inside snugly and the black elastic band to keep it closed is doing its job. I showed it off to my friends, and they oohed and ahhed over how pretty and sturdy it is! It's not as heavy as the iPad covers offered in big box stores, and is so much prettier. It does a great job! The chromatic colours are beautiful! It has a metallic appearance, feels smooth, and makes Old Glory shine!

I have ordered similar products before but disappointed with this one. The clear covering is coming up on the crease/spine of the cover. I am afraid it won’t last and will tear as more is coming up each day. I have only used it for a week and a half so far. . I have attached a picture. The color of the item is great.
