Cyclops, Art Deco Mythical Postcard

Cyclops, Art Deco Mythical Postcard Among shepherd cliffs and high rock, a one-eyed stone shepherd giant with a gold collar keeps lonely vigil. The last light has slipped across the scene, turning the sky a deep jewelled teal, but the cyclops remains illuminated like a guardian carved from living gold. A single central eye stares calmly forward—not hurling stones yet, not raging, simply watching. The high cliffs seem to lead directly towards its throne, as though anyone entering this hidden realm must first pass beneath the gaze of the cyclops. That sense of solitary power and ceremony shapes the entire design. The cyclops's stone face and single central eye rise against a radiant Art Deco sunburst, creating the appearance of a royal crest. Gold collar accents the figure while the surrounding geometric architecture frames the creature like a monument from a lavish fantasy age. Shepherd cliffs and high rock contrast with polished gold, black, emerald-marble panels, and brilliant red jewel accents. Repeating serpent medallions, stepped geometric lines, symmetrical ornament, and the bold black CYCLOPS title plaque complete the luxurious Art Deco presentation. The reverse continues the same world rather than becoming a generic postcard back. A warm ivory writing field is surrounded by coordinated gold, black, emerald, and ruby ornament, while an illustrated coastal landscape stretches across the lower edge. The Art Deco Postcard Collection emblem, address lines, and stamp area complete a front-to-back design made to feel like one finished piece. • One-eyed cyclops giant with gold collar among shepherd cliffs • Radiant Art Deco sunburst, gold collar, and royal crest framing • Emerald marble, ruby accents, black panels, and polished gold geometry • Coordinated illustrated back with message, address, and stamp areas • Part of the Art Deco Postcard Collection
