Cystic fibrosis Poster
Cystic fibrosis (CF or mucoviscidosis) is an autosomal recessive genetic disorder affecting most critically the lungs, the pancreas, liver, and intestine. It is chraacterised by abnormal transport of chloride and sodium across an epithelium, leading to thick, sticky mucus secretion. CF is caused by a mutation in the gene for the protein cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) located on the long arm of chromosome 7 . Scientifically accurate. Great for school science (biology) lab, doctor offices, clinic, hospital,... for educational purposes. Vector file scaleable to any size without losing resolution.
