Daishoji Umebachi T-Shirt

Daishoji Umebachi T-Shirt

Daishouu Bachi/Ume-mon This name was derived from 'Monten' and 'Nihon no Monsho.' According to "Heian Monkan," it was 'Umebachi of the Maeda family of Daisho-ji Temple.' The Maeda clan in Kanazawa made a sword, but the Maeda clan in Toyama made a Choshi-jo and the Maeda clan in Daisho-ji Temple made a Urimi-jo ... (From "Nihon Monshogaku" by Yorisuke NUMATA) / It was not only for the Shogun family but also for the territorial lords that distinguished Kamon by the illegitimate nature of the head family. For example, the Maeda clan and the Mori clan were the cases. The Maeda clan was divided into four families: Kaga Kanazawa, Daisho-ji Temple in Kaga, Ecchu Toyama and Ueno Nanokaichi; both families used Umebachi-mon as their honmon, but each family had some differences in Umebachi-mon to distinguish the four families. In other words, the Kanazawa-Maeda clan in the Sung Dynasty used Kenbaibachi, the Daisho-ji Maeda clan used Urimi-Umebachi with the sword-shaped Kenbaibachi as a uri-like shape, the Maeda clan in Toyama used Choshi-Umebachi with the Choshi-shaped Umebachi, and the Maeda clan in Nanokichi City used Sobibachi with the lack of it.
