damask pattern with owl Case-Mate iPhone case

I bought this as a birthday gift for a friend. She loved it because it came with the interior skin, which I didn't even realize it had. She drops her phone alot, so she said having a durable case with an interior skin would help protect her phone a whole lot better when she drops it. Plus, her favorite color is purple and she loves owls! So, technically, it was a win, win, win!! I thought it would have had a little bit of an irridescent coloring to it, but I still loved how it looked.

So gorgeous, from the day I got it, I've gotten so many compliments on it! The two layers (black rubber-like material, and the hard shell) are very sturdy, especially important for a habitually clumsy person like me! The "bumps" (on the inside rubber part of this case) for where the buttons are on the iPhone match perfectly, and aren't a hindrance or extra struggle. The rubber itself isn't stiff at all, which makes an easy time of taking the case on and putting it back on again! Overall, LOVE IT! The printing overall was great! Just appears more stretched out on the sides then the back.

I had the same case in the thin model, which cracked and chipped over time, offering little protection. This case so far offers more protection. It is bulkier than I thought, but I got used to it quick. It takes effort to push the power button, but it's a good case. The image has a shiny yellow tint; I was hoping the flag picture would resemble the image as much as possible, like matte rustic wood.
